Nyaru Menteng is a place that offers protection, and much more. Food. Shelter. Love. Survival. A place where orphaned orangutans are nurtured to health. A place where human ‘babysitters’ take the place of their mothers and teach them the skills they will need to survive when they are ready to return to a safe area of rainforest.
